Tom and I have owned and loved Dobermans for almost fourty years and have enthusiastically shown and bred them since 1990.  Working together is a labor of love, Tom carefully plans our litters, while I am the natural caregiver, raising and training each puppy, bringing him or her to their full potential.  I am very involved in the puppy's behavioral development and acknowledge the tremendous importance of "The Critical Periods" in a puppy's life (from birth to sixteen weeks old).  This is the time to imprint a puppy's mind.  Whether a puppy is to become a confident show dog or a wonderful family companion, our puppies begin their training when they are 3 weeks old, a time when their personality is being formed.  Each puppy is taught in a play atmosphere to "sit", "stand" and "down". We know that the Doberman breed is naturally intelligent, but feel because of our early training, Aeolus puppies are mentally superior: They love to learn and love to please!
